Alida van der Anker-Doedens was a Dutch sprint canoeist born on July 28, 1922, in Rolde. She competed in the 1940s and 1950s, winning a silver medal in the K-1 500 meters at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, finishing behind Danish competitor Karen Hoff. Four years later, at the Helsinki Games, she placed fourth in the same event. Her career also featured several national titles in K1 and K2 during the late 1940s and early 1950s. She passed away on April 1, 2014, in Haarlem.
