Alfred Papapreye Diete-Spiff (born 30 July 1942) is a notable Nigerian figure who served as the first Military Governor of Rivers State from May 1967 to July 1975. He was only 25 years old when appointed as a Naval Lieutenant Commander. He is an Ijaw from Bayelsa State and the Amayanabo of Twon-Brass. Diete-Spiff has been active in various roles, including serving as the National Chairman of the Nigerian Association of Auctioneers, and he participated in the 2005 National Conference.
