Alfred Czarnetzki was a German anthropologist, born on February 4, 1937, in Bochum and passed away on May 20, 2013, in Tübingen. He is renowned for being the first describer and discoverer of four fossil finds of the genus Homo. Additionally, he co-described the Tensulae, unique structures in bone architecture within the spongy substance of bones, alongside Franz Copf senior, who was the discoverer and primary describer.
