Alfred Bartolitius was a German tenor born in Königsberg on November 7, 1904. He performed at the Staatsoper in Berlin from 1928 to 1933 and at the Opernhaus in Leipzig from 1933 until 1944. Notably, during the 1932-1933 season, he sang at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Bartolitius died in Leipzig on April 6, 1945, during the final weeks of World War II.
