Alf Gunnar Börje Skaneby, born on January 18, 1945, is a Swedish former tour guide who has been a full-time chainsaw sculptor since 1997. He has created over 1000 wooden sculptures for private individuals and businesses in the Nordic region. He is best known for Trollskogen, a 1.5-kilometer long troll forest featuring hundreds of figures including trolls and animals, located in the Sälenfjällen ski area. Skaneby also produces all sound and stories associated with Trollskogen.
