Aleksey Alekseyevich Artamonov was a Soviet military pilot born on November 11, 1916, who served as a lieutenant in the Soviet Air Force during World War II. He was part of the 168th Fighter Aviation Regiment and played a vital role in combat operations. Artamonov's service was cut short when he died on June 30, 1941. He was posthumously honored for his bravery and contributions to the Soviet military efforts in the war.
