Aleksandar Vasiljević is a retired Serbian major general who served as the head of the Counterintelligence Service of Yugoslavia. He played a significant role in the JBTZ trial, being the interrogation official associated with Slovene dissidents. Vasiljević retired in May 1992 and faced legal issues following an interview with the magazine NIN. He held the position of deputy head from March 1999 until 2001 and also testified in the Hague trial against Slobodan Milošević.
