Aleksandar Gigović was a Serbian volleyball player born on April 20, 1983, in Kragujevac. He played his entire career at OK Radnički Kragujevac, where he excelled as a setter and receiver. Under coach Dejan Brdović, he helped the team rise to the Wiener Städtische Liga. Tragically, he died on July 28, 2007, from a pulmonary embolism just days before representing Serbia at the Summer Universiade. His legacy includes an annual memorial tournament organized in his honor, highlighting his impact on Serbian volleyball.
