Aled ap Dafydd is a Welsh journalist, raised in Bangor. He attended Ysgol Tryfan before earning a scholarship to Bangor University. In 1997, he joined the sports department of BBC Cymru as a reporter and commentator. He was appointed a sports correspondent for BBC News in 2001 and presented international football and rugby programs on S4C. Currently, he serves as a political correspondent for BBC Cymru.
