Alberto Ariza Sánchez, born Epaminondas Ariza Sánchez on October 13, 1903, in Aguada, Colombia, was a significant figure in the Catholic Church. He served as a Dominican friar and was the provincial of his order. Not only was he a priest, but he also made notable contributions as a writer and historian. He co-founded the Congregation of Dominican Sisters of Bethany and dedicated his life to religious service until his passing on May 20, 1987, in Bogotá.
