Major Alastair McLeod Morrison MC (1924-2007) was a distinguished British Army officer of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards. He earned the Military Cross for his bravery during Operation Market Garden in 1944, where he defended against enemy attacks in his tank. Morrison also participated in the Normandy landings on D-Day at Gold Beach. After serving in World War II, he transitioned to a successful business career and gained recognition for conducting tours of the Normandy beaches, sharing his insights and experiences from the war.
