Alan Geoffrey Woods is a retired Anglican priest born on 18 July 1942. He was educated at Bristol Cathedral Choir School and initially worked as an accountant. After being ordained in 1970, he served in various roles including curate, youth chaplain, and vicar in multiple parishes. He has held significant positions such as Rural Dean and Dean of Gibraltar. He was also the Anglican chaplain of Malta and Gozo. Since retirement, he continues to serve in his parish and works as the Clergy Retirement Officer for Dorset in the Diocese of Salisbury.
