Sir Philip Alan Reid, born on January 18, 1947, served as Chairman of the Duchy of Lancaster from January 2018. He held the positions of Keeper of the Privy Purse, Treasurer to the Queen, and Receiver General to the Duchy of Lancaster from 2002 until 2017. Previously a senior partner at KPMG, Reid was responsible for managing the Sovereign Grant and the Queen's private finances. He was honored as a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in 2007 and later elevated to Knight Grand Cross in 2012. He retired from the Royal Household in December 2017.
