Alan David Marks (May 14, 1949 – July 12, 1995) was an American concert pianist and composer. He gained recognition in Germany through performances and recordings of the largely unknown composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk and compositions by Erik Satie. He was also internationally noted for his distinctive interpretations of Franz Schubert's piano sonatas. From 1992 until his death, he served as a professor at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin.
