Alan Graham Apley (November 10, 1914 – December 20, 1996) was a British orthopedic surgeon and medical educator of Polish Jewish descent. He is best known for his book 'Apley's System of Orthopaedics and Fractures' and for a diagnostic test named after him, which is used for diagnosing meniscal injuries of the knee.
