He began his career in 1983 working at Toei Animation as a production assistant and later as a director from 1987 onward. He contributed to notable projects including 'Mr. Ajikko,' 'City Hunter 2,' and 'Detective Conan.' Throughout his career, he was involved in numerous television series and OVAs, establishing himself as a significant figure in the anime industry before his death in 2008.
