Ali Akbar Seddigh (1943-2015) was a Swedish-Iranian chemist and engineer who moved to Sweden in 1963 to continue his education at KTH and Stockholm University. He held various leadership positions at notable companies including Volvo and AB Atomenergi. In 1984, he founded the medical technology firm Ortivus, serving as CEO until it went public in 1997, maintaining a board position until 2008. He chaired several organizations, including Elekta and A+ Science Holding AB.
