Ajit Prakash Shah, born on 13 February 1948 in Solapur, is a former Indian judge who served as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court from May 2008 until February 2010. He graduated from Solapur and obtained his law degree from Government Law College, Mumbai. Appointed Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court in 1992, he later became the Chief Justice of Madras High Court. Since June 2011, he has chaired the Broadcasting Content Complaints Council, responsible for overseeing content standards in Indian entertainment channels.
