Aimo Massinen, born on July 4, 1944, in Sääminki, is a Finnish journalist and politician. He served as the editor-in-chief of Turun Sanomat from 1988 to 2009, and from February 2008 to August 2009 as its executive editor. He authored a question-and-answer column called 'Aimo annos' in the paper's Saturday Extra supplement. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he was elected to the Turku City Council in the 2012 municipal elections. Previously, he worked for Turun Päivälehti and co-hosted a discussion program on Turku TV.
