Aiko Ashikawa is a Japanese freelance announcer based in the Kanto region, born in February 1981. Although she was born in Tokyo, she grew up in Chiba due to her father's job. She graduated from Musashino Women's University in 2003 and began working at Ibaraki Broadcasting the same year. After becoming a freelance announcer in 2006, she took a break for motherhood but resumed her career in 2013. Ashikawa enjoys marine sports, snowboarding, and has participated in marathons, utilizing her skills in her broadcasting career.
