Ahmed El-Nahass was an Egyptian film director and screenwriter born on January 10, 1950. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Cinema (Script Department) in 1977. He began his career as an assistant director in 1975. His first feature film was 'The Lost Plane' released in 1984, followed by titles like 'The Scoundrels' and 'The Two Prisoners'. From the mid-1990s, he focused on directing television series, with notable works including 'The Peg' and 'Salma Ya Salama'. He was married twice, first to actress Raga'a Youssef and then to actress Samihah Ayoub.
