Abuya Kyai Hajji Ahmad Muhtadi Dimyathi al-Bantani, known as Abuya Muhtadi, is an influential Indonesian Muslim cleric born on December 26, 1953. He is recognized for his relationships with political leaders, including President Joko Widodo. Following his father's death, he took over the leadership of Pondok Pesantren Cidahu in 2003. Muhtadi is also the chairman of Majelis Muzakaroh Muhtadi Cidahu Banten and was active in the Nahdlatul Ulama organization. Notably, he issued a fatwa against Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia for their opposition to Pancasila.
