She graduated with a medical diploma from the Jagiellonian University Medical College and obtained her doctoral degree in 2000, focusing on retinal antibody levels in patients with idiopathic posterior uveitis. She habilitated in 2013 based on her research work. Currently, she is an assistant professor at the Department of Ophthalmology at Jagiellonian University and works at the Clinical Department of Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Oncology. Her research includes age-related macular degeneration and uveitis.
