Agnar Kofoed-Hansen (August 3, 1915 – December 23, 1982) was an Icelandic pilot, aviation director, and police chief. He was born in Reykjavík and learned to fly at the Danish Army's flight school. Agnar worked as a pilot in Denmark and obtained further qualifications in Norway and Germany. He was instrumental in establishing the Icelandic Aeronautical Society in 1936 and served as a police chief in Reykjavík from 1940 to 1947. He later became the director of the state airport from 1947 to 1951, and aviation director from 1951 until his death.
