Agate Øksendal Kaupang is a Norwegian novelist born on December 16, 1993, in Kristiansand. She was partly raised in her hometown and partly in Østlandet, currently residing in Son. Kaupang studied at the Forfatterstudiet in Bø for one year and made her literary debut in 2013 with the novel 'Å holde pusten'. For this debut work, she received the Sørlandets litteraturpris in the category of fiction in 2014.
