Aesha Ash is an American ballet dancer and teacher born on December 30, 1977. She has performed in leading roles with various ballet companies, including New York City Ballet, Béjart Ballet, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. After retiring from performing, she established The Swan Dreams Project in 2011 to challenge and change stereotypes regarding Black women in ballet. In 2020, she made history as the first African American female faculty member at the School of American Ballet.
