Adriana Faranda, known by the nom de guerre 'Alexandra', is an Italian political activist born on August 7, 1950, in Tortorici. She was a member of the Red Brigades during the 1970s, actively participating in armed struggle in Rome. In 1976, she joined the Red Brigades and played a key role in the kidnapping and murder of Aldo Moro. In 1979, she distanced herself from the group due to strategic disagreements and later founded the Revolutionary Communist Movement. She was detained in May 1979 and was released from prison in 1994 after dissociating from armed struggle.
