Adolf Nadig was a Swiss amateur entomologist born in Milan in 1910 and passed away in Coire in 2003. He specialized in orthopterans and was the son of Adolf Nadig Sr., a Swiss politician and naturalist. In May 1999, he became a corresponding member of the Natural History Museum of Geneva, where his collection of over 100,000 specimens from the Western Palearctic has been housed since 2001.
