Adi Kanga was an Indian civil engineer and writer known for his role in planning Navi Mumbai. Born on March 16, 1923, in a Parsi family in Bombay, he worked as a general manager at CIDCO, where he contributed to the city’s planning and execution. Kanga recommended the construction of the Vashi Bridge and created the initial plans for the New City at Vashi. He authored 'Number Mosaics: Journeys in Search of Universals' published in 1995. Kanga passed away on April 1, 2013, in Sydney.
