Abu al-Hassan al-Sadr (August 25, 1902 - September 23, 1978) was an Iraqi Shiite jurist and poet, noted for his contributions to Islamic scholarship in the 20th century. Born in Kadhimayn, he was educated by his father and uncles, who were prominent scholars of their time. He excelled in Islamic sciences and delivered sermons in Isfahan after relocating there, where he resided until his death. He was known for his poetry, although he produced it sparingly.
