Abhay Chhajlani (1934-2023) was a prominent Indian journalist and chief editor of the daily newspaper, Nai Dunia, based in Indore. He held the position of president of the Indian Newspaper Society in 2002 and was a member of its executive committee. Chhajlani actively promoted blood donation through the initiative Blood Donation 365 Days and chaired the social facility Abhay Prashal in Indore. He was honored with the Padma Shri in 2009 for his contributions to journalism and was also involved with the Indore Table Tennis Trust and Indian Languages Newspaper Association.
