Abedin Shehu was an Albanian communist politician, economic leader, and economist, born on January 2, 1918, in Bicaj and died in Tirana in 1988. He served as the Minister of Public Works from 1948 to 1950 and as the Minister of Industry from 1949 to 1950. In 1950, he was expelled from the party and stripped of his political positions but continued to work in various leadership roles within state-owned enterprises.
