Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Abdul Shukor Husin is a prominent Islamic scholar in Malaysia. He served as the Chairman of the Fatwa Committee for the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs in Malaysia from 2005 to 2017. He was involved in the Congress of State Islamic Councils across Malaysia and was the first Vice Chancellor of the University of Science Islam Malaysia after serving as the Rector of the College University Islamic Malaysia from 1998 until 2005, receiving national recognition with the Tokoh Maal Hijrah award in 2011.
