Abdul Haq Choudhury (August 24, 1922 - October 26, 1994) was a renowned historian known as 'Chattalbid'. He gained prominence for his research on the history of Chittagong, Sylhet, and Arakan. A follower of Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad, his contributions to historiography earned him recognition, including the Ekushey Padak award. In honor of his legacy, the Ministry of Culture of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh is establishing a memorial center and museum in Noazishpur.
