Abdolhossein Zarrinkoob (1923 - 1999) was an Iranian scholar and historian from Borujerd. He obtained his PhD in literature from the University of Tehran in 1955, under the supervision of Badi' al-Zaman Furuzanfar. Zarrinkoob taught at the University of Tehran as well as several prestigious institutions worldwide, including Oxford, Sorbonne, Princeton, and various universities in India and Pakistan. He passed away in Tehran in 1999.
