Abbas Noyan is an ethnic Hazara politician and currently serves as Afghanistan's ambassador to Sweden. Prior to this, he was a Member of Parliament in Wolesi Jirga from 2005 to 2010, representing Kabul province. Noyan became known for his active advocacy for women's rights, universal education, and governance reforms. He focused on bridging ethnic divides among his constituents by promoting a multi-ethnic political party.
