Abbas Fares (April 22, 1902 - February 13, 1978) was an Egyptian actor known for his work during the era of black and white films, as well as some colored films. He became associated with roles representing nobility and authority. Some of his most notable performances include the character Sheikh Al-Aziz Ibn Abdul Salam in the film 'Wa Islamah,' and the role of the corrupt director in 'Abu Helmi,' where he cleverly manages the misappropriation of documents.
