Greensburg, Kansas, is a small city located in Kiowa County, in the south-central part of the state. It has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. The city was founded in 1887 and is known for its historic downtown district, which includes many Victorian-era buildings. Greensburg is also home to the Big Well Museum, which features a 32-foot-wide well that was dug in 1888.
