Osa, Russia is a town located in the Perm Krai region, approximately 120 kilometers southwest of Perm. The town has a humid continental climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Osa was founded in 1759 as a copper smelting plant and later became a major center for the production of iron and steel. The town's rich industrial heritage is reflected in its numerous historical sites, including the Osa Iron and Steel Works, which is now a museum.
