Syas’stroy is a town in Leningrad Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of the Syas River, 70 km southeast of St. Petersburg. The climate is humid continental, with cold, snowy winters and warm, humid summers. The town was founded in 1926 as a settlement for workers building the Syasstroy Pulp and Paper Mill, and it received town status in 1992. Syas’stroy is home to several historical and cultural landmarks, including the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, built in 1886, and the Syasstroy Museum of Local Lore, which exhibits the town's history and culture.
