Bogojevo, Serbia, is a small village located in the municipality of Ada in the Vojvodina region. The village has a population of around 1,000 people and is situated on the banks of the Tisa River. The climate in Bogojevo is continental, with hot summers and cold winters. The village has a rich history, dating back to the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in written records in 1332, and was part of the Kingdom of Hungary for centuries. After the Ottoman conquest of Hungary in the 16th century, Bogojevo became part of the Ottoman Empire. It was liberated from Ottoman rule in 1867, and became part of the Kingdom of Serbia. After the First World War, Bogojevo became part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and after the Second World War, it became part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. In 1992, Bogojevo became part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and in 2006, it became part of the Republic of Serbia.
