Târgu Secuiesc, known as Kezdivásárhely in Hungarian, is a city in Covasna County, Transylvania, Romania, situated at the foot of the Bodoc Mountains. With an average temperature of 8.5°C and annual precipitation of 800 mm, the city experiences a temperate climate. Historically, the city was first mentioned in 1332 and was an important trading center in the Middle Ages. Today, it is a multicultural city with a rich heritage, home to the Székely National Museum and the Bethlen Gábor College.
