Białogard, formerly known as Belgard, is a town in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, situated at the confluence of the Parsęta and Radew rivers. The town has a temperate oceanic climate, with average temperatures ranging from -1.5°C in January to 18°C in July. Białogard's history dates back to the 13th century, when it was a stronghold of the Pomeranian dukes. It was later acquired by the Teutonic Knights, who built a castle there. The town was granted city rights in 1346. Białogard has a rich heritage, with many historical buildings, including the 14th-century Church of St. Nicholas and the 19th-century Town Hall.
