Jedwabno is a town in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Poland, situated in the historical region of Masuria, near the border with the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The town has a humid continental climate, with cold, snowy winters and warm, humid summers. Jedwabno's history dates back to the 14th century, when it was founded by the Teutonic Knights as a border fortress. The town was destroyed by the Poles in 1410 and rebuilt in 1422. Jedwabno is home to several historical monuments, including the 14th-century Gothic church of St. Mary Magdalene and the 19th-century town hall.
