Cabilauan, Western Visayas, Philippines, is a municipality in Iloilo province, located at 10.8922200°N, 122.6591700°E. The town has a tropical monsoon climate, with an average temperature of 27°C and an annual rainfall of 1,500 mm. Historically, Cabilauan was a settlement established by Spanish missionaries in the 16th century. It was later attacked and burned by Muslim pirates in the 18th century, and was eventually rebuilt and repopulated by the Spanish. The town's heritage includes a number of Spanish colonial churches and other historical sites.
