Laguit Centro, also known as Laguit, is a municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is located on the western coast of Luzon, approximately 40 kilometers south of Vigan City. The municipality experiences a tropical climate with an average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. Laguit Centro has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the pre-colonial period. It was once a part of the Kingdom of Namacpacan, and later became a Spanish colony. The municipality is known for its traditional crafts, such as pottery and weaving, as well as its historical landmarks, such as the Laguit Church and the Spanish-era houses.
