Oligi is a sum (district) of Övörhangay Province in central Mongolia. It is located in the central part of the province, about 100 km southwest of the provincial capital, Arvaikheer. The sum has an area of 2,100 km2 and a population of about 3,000 people. The climate is continental, with cold winters and hot summers. The average temperature in January is -20°C, and the average temperature in July is +20°C. The sum is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Ongi Monastery, which was founded in the 17th century.
