Sharhulsan, formerly known as Mandal Obo Somon, is a town in South Govĭ, Mongolia, situated at 44.65°N and 104.05°E. The town has a humid continental climate with warm, humid summers and cold, dry winters. Sharhulsan's history dates back to the Bronze Age, with evidence of human settlement from that period. The town is also home to several historical and cultural sites, including the Sharhulsan Monastery, which was built in the 17th century.
