Bcharré, also known as Basharri, is a town located in the Liban-Nord Governorate of Lebanon, situated at an altitude of 1,450 meters above sea level and approximately 120 kilometers northeast of Beirut. The town is renowned for its scenic mountain landscapes, charming traditional architecture, and rich historical heritage, which includes ancient monasteries, churches, and the birthplace of the renowned Lebanese poet Khalil Gibran.
