Cosseria is a comune in the province of Savona, Liguria, Italy. It is located in the Bormida Valley, at the confluence of the Bormida di Spigno and Bormida di Millesimo rivers. The climate is temperate, with hot summers and mild winters. Cosseria has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. It was part of the Marquisate of Finale from 1162 to 1598, and then passed to the Duchy of Savoy. In 1861, Cosseria became part of the newly unified Kingdom of Italy. The town's heritage is reflected in its architecture, which includes a number of medieval churches and palaces.
